2002 Dodge 1500 series- was stopping at a red light and my truck completely died. All the lights are working, radio etc.. but it will not turn over. No clicking no nothing.

Is it full of oil? See if you can turn the engine by the crankshaft bolt with a ratchet.
Do you have to remove belt and plugs to that or can you do it by hand?
It needs a quart of oil. I had someone do that earlier and it won't turn. But I had someone tell me you had to take plugs and belt off to turn. Oh God, I hope my motor isn't locked up..
If you know someone with some tools you can turn it with a 1/2" ratchet and socket without taking anything off.
Money is always the issues... just my freakin luck. Thanks for your time :)
One last thing though... I thought when a motor locks up it makes some kind of clattering noise. Mine didnt. It just died. Weird right?
Not always but you should have seen an oil light on the dash. Take the belt off and see if any thing has froze up. A/C, alternator etc. Check everything.
Is there any other reason besides a locked up motor that will cause it not to turn?
I have seen a transmission do it once. Other than that,no.
