The heated seat on the drivers side does not work sometimes and when it does not work the button flashes for a while, what could be the problem?

Hi ironman. Often heating coils are simply resistant conductors and those tend to tire. When they malfunction they can draw more load than the electrical system can provide, and the problem cant start as intermittent but the frequency of these issues tends to increase. Check out whether the heating system can be replaced in the seat or if the seat has to be replaced as a whole. Talk to your Dodge dealers parts guys and get his thoughts on the matter. Good luck!
