Check for power on the brown wire in the harness. Also check for ground (negative) on the white wire in the harness. Is the white wire on the trailor side of the connection bolted to the trailor? It needs to be in order to complete the ground(negative) side of the circuit.

On factory wired trailer lights dodge has extra fuse for 12v and trailer tail lights. It is in a black connector case just outside of main power box under hood. There are two fuse connectors outside of power distribution box. one is 1/2 covered and has 15 amp fuse and one for trailer 12v is all encaed 15 amp and has small print on top saying 12v aux. Hallelujah found the problem

Jet757, any chance you could post a picture of the black connector case you’re talking about. I’m having trouble figuring out where you’re referring to.

On 02-08 it’s in the fuse area. Number 15. Supposed to be a 20 but I am using leds so a ten should do.

Jet757 can you post a picture of the overall engine bay so I know exactly where to look?
