Front of intake manifold near the alternator. Do you have a code for it?

The Engine Coolant Temperature (ECT) sensor on the 3.7L engine is installed into a water jacket at front of intake manifold near rear of generator

Generator? It doesn't have a generator. Generators are old, heavy, low amperage units that were used on pre-solid state ignition vehicles.
