2004 Dodge Ram 1500 5.7 hemi problem

When I start my truck it revs by itself pretty high. In
park after even warming it up same thing. Put it in
drive and for the first few blocks same thing revving
too loud kinda not wanting to go anywhere.after a
few blocks seems to start doing ok. But turn it off
for a bit . Same thing from the start. I replaced pvc
and IAT sensor . Still the same . I need help.any
ideas?

have codes checked....listen/look for a vacuum leak for starters
