How to determine Evap system leak
I recently replaced my fuel pump during the
process of this the threads on the gas tank that
the lock ring tightens down to hold the fuel pump
were damaged i cannot get any ring to tighten
downs at all so i put a ratchet strap around the
tank and cranked it down i dont think it is sealed
though my check engine light came on evap
system leak both large and small did this happen
because of the tank not being sealed completly
and would this effect my gas milage at all
