2004 Rear End issues.

Question type: Maintenance & Repair
Ok, so I have a 2004 Ram 1500 quadcab 2wd. I
have had the rear end rebuilt 4 times by 3 different
dodge dealerships within 6 months. I'M TIRED!
Now I'm trying to find out if i can put a 2500 rear
end on my 1500 without any alterations.

Why are they failing? I am sure you could adapt a heavier duty rear axle with work. Be aware that the wheels have different bolt patterns. Which axle is it? A better choice for a swap might be a later 10.5" axle from a 2006 to 2013 1500.
Unsure as to why they are failing. Towing max for me is about 5000 lbs. The last rebuild i was told it was a difference in my back tires by an 1/8th of an inch, new tires same problem
One thing people that haul a lot should do is add a high capacity differential cover and a temperature gauge,
