I have a 2004 Ram SLT 4.7 liter RWD with just over 160.000 miles. Check engine light is on with no code. ???

What does it mean when you have a check engine light on and scanner finds no code>.

Then they were doing something wrong with scanner. Trying to use PIDs and not knowing how ..or something. It should at least show "No fault codes found" or no DTC found. .....My scanner shows 'no DTC found' and some read 'end of codes'
The batteries in the scanner might be dead or maintenance required and CEL are being confused
Or, I forgot. Fuse for OBDII port blown. Should have thought of that FIRST
