If you have a misfire, and your mechanic don,t know how to do this, without a code,,uhmm, tell him that before there were code,s,you would have to do this old school, meaning pull one plug/coil pack at a time to find the miss, and then,i would think, when he find,s it,he need,s to do a compression check on that cylinder, and hope that it hold,s pressure,if it don,t then it,s back to pulling the head,s and redoing what he did not do to start with, hopefully he will hold pressure on the cylinder, thus meaning it will be a fuel injector problem,,
But if no code,s for the mis fire is there,it lead,s me to thinking he may be redoing the head job.
