Hi, i installed new aftermarket car stereo on a dodge ram 1500 and now my abs/brake/airbag lights like to go and off randomly and the gauges like to randomly reset its only when i have the stereo on if its off nothing happend what do you think it is please help me out.

what year 1500??... the factory radios are on the bus system and if you hooked into the bus wires it will mess up other modules on the bus ...//did you have a set of twisted wires that you spliced into?..// if you did those are the bus wires

What do you mean by open wires? ...//it sounds like you might have tapped into the clock memory wire or the dash lights ...

is this a base radio or does it have a factory amp ...//also check that e14 orange and tan wire that's the panel lamps

does the aftermarket stereo have a amp? yes it does, im gonna check the wiring again truck is in shop rack and pinion.

I have a 2006 Dodge Ram 1500 and I installed an aftermarket radio into it. It works great until I turn on the lights and the screen goes blue, any ideas on why?
