Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I shut my truck off and went to start it after a short time and it wont idle, cruise control stopped working and it wont kick down in passing gear above 55. I have changed the idling control sensor and the AIC sensor. Any ideas would be appreciated.

Check for vacume leak, around intake, and your cruze control module.

The idle issue would lean toward vacume loss, along with cruze not working,And you replaced the sensor on the AIC,did you remove and clean it all so?

If truck crank,s the Ecm should be fine,in my experience ,there is a vacume leak in the system, you can have a vacume test done to rule it out,but from what you have discribed,i think that is the issue, dont just check under hood,it could be at the tranny.
