Code P0846: Transmission Fluid Pressure Sensor/Switch 'B' Circuit ... dodge ram 2004..... There is a good article that explains P0700 and others at: http://www.obd-codes.com/p0700 ,...it has possible causes and solutions there
Also: http://engine-codes.com/p0871_dodge.html is a real good read And yet another, but not as good as the first two: http://dodgeforum.com/forum/3rd-gen-ram-tech/299903-code-p0700-p0876.html
can you tell me where the tcm is located?
The TCM is part of the "PCM" or "ECM" as some call it, it is located under the hood on the right side (Pass. Side) of the firewall behind the air cleaner box. It has 4 plug in connectors plugged into it all color coded ( Black, orange, green, and white) the color can be seen AFTER you unplug then from the PCM. ALSO it is always a "safe" idea to disconnect the battery for at least 5 min's before unplugging or plugging in the connecters to the PCM/TCM ***click image***
Had a mechanic check it at my house. He told me he had a code p0700. Whining noise. Wont go into any gear at all. He told me there were 0 revolutions on the converter. Stated more than likely the transmission oil pump needs to be replaced. Do yall who know agree?
