Why does the dip stick of my transmission on my ram 2004 show empty after a week or two of filling it up ???

No oil on dipstick does nor necessarily mean completely empty, but yes, far too low. If you have it on the top 'full' mark and 2 weeks, and say, 500 miles (?) later it does not show on dipstick you are losing oil from either a leak or burning it. Do you have drops or puddles on ground? Any white/bluish smoke from exhaust?

Aww man! No no puddles I actually had Somone changed the gasket and did a transmission oil change i was hopping it wasent anything big seems to me I have a problem :( thanks for your help
