Wont start.

I have an 05 5.7L. Stopped at the store last night, came out it wouldn't start. Solenoid clicked once, then the interior lights went crazy. Jumped it, it ran the 20 miles home no problems. Got home shut it off same issue. The battery tested 12.5 volts I have not load tested yet. Running the alt is putting out 14.2 volts checked fuses starter connections and battery terminals cannot find an issue. Any thoughts or ideas?

Turned out it was the battery. I have never had a battery go bad that way, with out sitting at least over night.
