2005 Dodge Ram 1500 5.7. wont turn over, just rapid clicking. battery is good. ran fine all day yesterday. I do know the O2 censor needs replacing. Thougths?

yeah...the ground connection to the chassis and motor have gone "semi- conductor" with corrosion...you gotta take the connection apart and wirebrush till metal then put back...at the chassis and at the one that goes to the MOTOR near the alternator...get the solid 300 cold cranking amp connection~
I just opened the drivers side door and dash lights and cab lights where blinking on and off. Still think ground connector?
Ground conductor is good.
Clean and tighten all battery connections. Also clean and tighten the negative connection on the frame and motor. My 2007 5.7 did the same thing twice. The first time It was dirty battery terminals. They looked clean from the top but after removing them I could see the corrosion. The second time it was the battery. It tested ok but would not crank my truck. I replaced the battery and all has been great since.
