Alt voltage drop

The voltage drops when I turn on the ac I checked battery
and alt both check fine voltage drops only when ac is on
and at idle rev up a couple rpm it goes back to normal
range let of drops off it's a 2005 dodge ram 1500 5.7 liter

It's working just fine, when the engine rpm drops the alternator output drops because it's not turning fast enough to provide full output.

No it dont normally drop like that it's something that just started 2 days ago I've had the truck for 10 years now this is a new problem
Can you hear a whine coming from the alternator? You may have a single diode bad in the rectifier or a bad stator winding, Do this, with the engine running turn on all loads listen and feel the alternator if it makes a whining noise and will feel rough don't burn yourself, I hope this helps you
