Did you read any codes and check for blown fuses or light bulbs yet ?

I am not seeing any codes. All lights are functional. Could the problem be with the emergency flasher?

Yes it could be the hazard flasher or the turn flasher is short circuiting the system. Did you check all the light bulbs as well ?

Yes. All bulbs are functional. When this occurs I can wiggle the emergency flasher and the blinker works fine. I just didn't know if the same flasher works the turn signals as well. Does it???

I had the same problem with my 2006 dodge ram 1500 quad cab. The dealer supplied me with a new turn signal switch saying they had been recalled.
