06 ram Hemi oil pressure gauge

My 06 ram hemi oil pressure gauge started to fluctuate. It does it when braking
in the city, and not all the time. On the hwy just straight driving its good, the
check gauges light comes on when braking and the oil pressure gauge drones
the goes back to normal.
Any ideas what causing this?

Check the connection to the oil sender. If there is a wire loose or damaged it could cause this.

    oil pressure gauge drops off to nothing than immediatly climbs back to normal. it only does it at operating temp, and when the truck is coming to a stop. oil level is normal to my knowledge.
