Just bought 2006 Ram 1500. AC blows slightly cool air. No reduction in air flow, just not cold air. Is this just freon needing to be topped off or something more extensive?

Is the A/C compressor clutch clicking on and off ? If so low on freon if not and the system is full the high side line has a in line filter that is clogged.

Open hood and check out A.C compressor if it is visible and you should hear a clicking on and off sound.
