Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Tried to start my 2006 Dodge Ram 1500 5.7L  and it just clicked, all the internal lights and radio  still work fine.

I had this issue with my 2006. It was the TIP (Total Integrated Power) module was faulty. Once it was replaced the problem went away.

GuruTVW2W how did you go about diagnosing that problem. I am having the same problem and I have tested everything I could with no end, so I am leaning towards a bad TIPM. And suggestions before I spend the money???

It is very, very common problem with battery's,simply poles are corroded (oxidizes ) what prevent it to get power out. Simply cleaned out before jump to any conclusion
