Theft 2006 dodge ram 1500 slt

Someone attempted to steal my dodge ram and
failed. They broke the cover to the steering wheel.
My truck wont start. I changed out the ignition
switch. It still wont start. Im stumped i turn the key
and everything lights up but it wont crank please
help
