How mechanically inclined are you? Do you work on cars? Able to lift heavy objects? Want to have fun taking a transmission apart? It's not hard to do, mechanically, but you just need to know how it all comes apart and all goes back together and clean it well. There are lots of parts associated with a transmission and it all has to be installed correctly with the correct torque specs. So purchase a transmission shop manual for your particular transmission and someone to help you who has done it before and maybe you can find a youtube video as well. Research is key. Maybe check out some Ram forums as well. I would suggest you have another vehicle to drive while you are working on your truck in case something doesn't work out and you need help. Good Luck!

i need a trans rebuild but i have both badly damaged rotateor cuffs and a torn bicep its gonna be tough
