Waterpump replacement now no heat !!!

I resently replaced my water pump do to it leaking.
I get very poor heat now ? Does it have something
to do with what coolent I am running ? Or air in the
lines ? Is there a bleeder screw ? 2003 dodge ram
2500 5.7 hemi w/5 speed manual
