Question type: Car Customization

Wanting to find out if I would be able to install a 318 v8 in my 2003 dodge ram 2500 truck instead of a 5.7l hemi.

The mounts should be the same but the transmission bolt pattern won't be the same if you plan on using the stock transmission

why would you make that swap? the hemi makes over 100hp more than the 318, and is more fuel efficient. you would have to change computer and all wiring. forget about passing emissions.
