4 WD operational question

I've got an 04 ram 2500 HD 4WD and when placed in 4wd only the left front and left rear
wheels do any turning both in high or low range,.. WTH ?? This was just noticed today
while pulling out a neighbor from a snow bank,. he made the comment that my R/F and
R/R wheel wasn't working at all and only the left side of the trucks tires were pulling. It's
got me baffled, the front axle is showing engagement with the left side but not the right!

If your traction is different on your wheels and don't have limited slip on the rears the two with the least traction will spin. When in 4 wheel drive doen't mean that all 4 will pull.

zeak,.. thanks for your response but the situation was the 2 wheels that were working (L/F and L/R) were spinning do to slipping on the ice the R/F and R/R were in the snow and not even trying to turn, if they did there wouldn't have been any problem. but Nothing ?? I thought even if both pigs (front and rear) were limited slip at least,.. the other 2 should have started to try to help out the situation. I'm kinda' wishing both had posi-pigs.
