Similar codes and the same codes.

Since they came out with emissions on a vehicle, all vehicles, especially 2000 and on up would have an EGR Valve.
Well I bought one to replace it and got home and couldn't find it. So I started to look it up and watch videos. And it isn't there. It has a cap plate where one goes . But there isn't even a harness for it or the tubes
A cap over where the EGR belongs? Cause where ever I look it shows a EGR Valve for that.
Oh, ok, looking further, (still early in the morning for me) I do not see one on the 2500. The 1500's have one.
Hmm... Ya that what I was thinking. I read where several others went to the Dodge/Chrysler dealerships and they were told their vehicles didn't have one.
Not on me . It was throwing several circuit code ( hopefully over a bad batter ) so I cleared them all and buying a new battery today.
So I can't tell, everything is blended with dirt. Should have 2 bolts holding a plate in place. And yes, a low battery will give you grief, throw codes. Make sure the charging system is working should have 13.8 to 14.7 DCV at the battery when the engine is running.
Ya . Sorry took that pic last night showing it to my buddy. But behind my hand is there the cover plate is for it . Lol. Thanx man
You bet, after blowing the pic up looks like it would have gone to the left of your finger on the side there. (just a bit slow this morning, head cold Lol.)
