Can I put the rear end of a 2008 3500 Dodge ram
diesel into a 2005 2500 Dodge ram diesel?

I went to the www.rockauto.com and checked out the differental rebuild kit for both the 2500 and the 3500 and the part numbers are not the same so I would not do the swap.
