can't find a fuse panel inside the truck any other ideas about where it may be or if there is another one other than the one under the hood?

Question type: Maintenance & Repair
The turn signals and break lights work on the truck but the left signal light and break light won't work on the trailer and we have checked the trailer plug on the truck and there is no power to the left turn signal or break light. What might the problem be?

Your gonna have to track your wiring. If it was a fuse both turn signals and both brake lights wouldn't work.
may be a splice issue or check the back of the 7 way connector may be corroded. Alot of problems also come from the lamp housing itself it is a little circuit board inside have seen many fail.
There are fuses for the trailer lamps under the hood, drivers side, inside of the fuse box.
If you trace the from the plug back to the under hood panel and cant find a problem it most likely needs the under hood panel. the panel is also the module to control lots of functions on these trucks and there not cheap and prone to failure. Have a good tech check it before replacing
The computer module has failed. They put the relays in the module. I am looking at replacing the one on my 2003 2500 Ram for the second time since I purchased the truck new. Module and service to replace it runs will over a thousand dollars if you don't do it yourself. Dodge says they are not aware of a defect.
Screw Dodge and their T.I.P.M. Module Fuse Box scam. Instead of fuses the headlights and trailer lights are controlled by it. So instead of replacing a $3.00 fuse,,, they jack you for over a thousand dollars when you have what should be a fuse out. Scam all the way!!!!!!!!!!!

There are three 20 amp relays for the trailer system in the power control module. If you are patient, and somewhat mechanically inclined, you can remove the module. First disconnect the neg. batt. Terminal. There are 3 spot on top where it has been melted together, use a drill carefully. Disassemble carefully, you can order the tyco relays online. I would replace with 30A. Get a soldier sucker remove 3 relays, install new ones. Reassemble module. Drill a small hole in the center where it had been melted to secure the two halves. You can use small screws to re-secure the two halves. Go slow, there are locking tabs around the circumference as you try to separate the plastic halves.
Flashers relay fuse on end of dash drivers side, open driver's door ,close to door hinge on dash, hard to snap off fuse cover sort of large triangle
where is the fuse box located on a 2006 dodge ram 1500
