i have removed the oil pan, filter and 4 bolts holding the solenoid housing on, but can not get the housing to come off. how do I remove the solenoid housing?

I have a 2001 Dodge Ram 3500 diesel, I plugged in my trailer and the headlights went out. I got the low beams working fine the high beams will not light nor does the indicator on the dash. If I ground the right (easier to get to) bulb the high beams work, with a hard ground they wont turn off. What controls the ground in this truck? 1 Answer
