2004 ram 3500 gauges going out along with brights and wipers not working
Hello I have done a ton of research before posting
this so if anyone has dealt with this same issue
which im sure people have please feel free to add
anything thay might help. So my truck is a 04 3500
5.9l turbo diesel when I get to about 20 mph and
until about 60 the gauges like to go completely to 0
along with all the caution lights coming on, while
this is happening my brights will not come on and
it ny lights arent already turned on mamually they
will come on. Meanwhile the gauges lighting will
dim or get brighter and the over head display which
shows my mpgs and such shows nothing. Had it
checked out before they greased the room
connections and the vistronic fan clutch
connections and said it fixed it but if the problem
persisted it might need a new fan clutch, also it
likes to gurgle like its losing power then gets it
back has stalled a few tines at low speeds but
starts right up again. Before i go and buy this or
take it to a dealership to have it checked would
love if anyone had some insight. Checked batteries
both were good but when i first start the truck up
the voltage goes from lile 14.5 to 13 as well all the
truck sounding like its going to stall. Alot of people
saying ecm tipm gauge cluster or possibly the
alternator is what im thinking but not sure. Any
inaight will help thanks.
