my head lights got left on one day and the battery died. I jumped it that night and ran fine. 3 days later while driving the car dies on the interstate. 5 mins later it started back up.

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

it's done it 3 times since then. had
the battery checked and it has a
drain on it while it's turned off. then I
noticed my driver side door won't
latch closed. could this be causing
the drainage even though the interior
lights are off?

Could be your battery isn't fully charged.. I would let it run in your drive way for about 10 minutes then use a multi-meter and measure the voltage..
