My damn reverse lights stay on when my 05 Dodge 3500 is in park...

Last year I had an ATS transmission installed in my Ram 3500 4x4 with 5.9 Cummins... About a month after that the reverse
lights started staying on while it's in park... The indicator on the dash doesn't light up when it's in park and when you put it in
reverse it says it's in neutral, but when you put it in drive the drive indicator is lit... Anyone have any ideas??

It sounds like it's out of phase. Take it back and have the shift linkage adjusted.
In another month that ATS transmission is gonna be fried too. I made it to 550 hp at the tires on their stage 4 which is supposed to hold well over 800 now I run a goerend unit and love it
Suncoast is the way to go with automatics. My buddy has a 2008 Duramax with a goerend, and it was either installed wrong or something was broke. He would put it to the floor and it would downshift into 3rd gear, but wouldnt come out of 3rd gear. Also, if you put it into reverse, it would kick itself out most of the time. But Suncoast transmissions are extremely stout. Another one of my buddies had a 2003 Duramax with about 600 hp and it never skipped a beat.
I made about 727whp and a little over 1400ftlbs with my goerend unit and its stout as can be.
shift linkage under the dash needs adjustment, directly above the brake pedal. its a white plastic clip, you push it out to unlock the cable. put the truck in park, slide the cable until the indicator also says park. push the white locking clip back in. There is a "half locked" position to help you look at the indicator light without losing the adjustment. A friend spotting makes this an easy job.
