how do you test the fuel pump fuse on a 2000 chevy cavalier

The acid test is to turn the key to "On". You should hear the pump run for a couple of seconds. The Caviler should have a fuel pump relay in the engine compartment fuse box. There are several that are the same and you can swap them around to check for a bad relay. If your fuse is good, the relay clicks and the pump doesn't run, you need another pump.

if you know the actual fuse in the panel you can check for continutiy across the fuse or just pull it out and look at it.
