I recently bought a new fuel pump for my Chevrolet cavalier and it went out. What could have made it just quit?

Autozone, O'Rieleys, NAPA, Advanced all buy junk foreign made parts. I have replaced plenty of electrical parts for friends that took their car to the least expensive mechanic in town. Places put the cheap foreign parts on cars instead of buying original brand name parts to save $20 and those parts break a year later.

A guy bought a rebuilt starter from auto zone took it home installed it and it didn't work. Took it back and a test confirmed it was junk. They took a new non rebuilt off the shelf and he decided to have them test it and it didn't work either. They had to go and pick up a third from a nearby store for the guy and it finally worked.
