1995 E class Mercedes Benz trunk won't open with key HELP

Have you tried pushing down on the trunk lid while working the key? If you get it open don't close the lid until you have a good look at the lock mechanism. I would also use some lock lube .

Thank you for the response, I've tried that already...but it won't open. So many things went wrong in such a short period of time to my car. It's beyond unreal!

When you say you are using the key are you inserting the key in the lock or just working the fob button?

Try giving us more details. Is the key just spinning in the lock? Is the key worn? Have you tried turning the key both ways when you put it in? Have you tried to unlock it using the drivers door lock? Does the rest of the central locking system work?
