where is the Comfort Control Module in 1999 C230. It is not located near the battery as suggested by the alldatadyi.

Most internet search indicates that this part is located near the battery and accessible after battery removal. However, I did not find that part located there in my 1999 C230 Kompressor. Is it located at a different location in this particular model / year?

Sometimes they are located under the carpet. I would print a picture or have the part in hand. Then, I would search around the engine bay and interior. Also, you could buy a Chilton Service Manual.
