my mercedes c320 2001 will not start. possible trash in fuel line. can i use starting fluid to try to start?

These are known for no start issues if the MAF ( mass air flow sensor ) is dirty. It may need to be cleaned or replaced, but I agree with Tom more info would help pin point the problem.

battery is charged. the engine will turn over but just sounds like getting no gas
