Kompressors in 4Cyl models. With a damaged clutch/bearing S/charger can the car still be driven? Avg costs to repair/replace?

Kompressor 4cyl class. What are the symptoms of a bad Supercharger.. and how costly/ to repair replace. What's generally involved,Is a it a possible DIY job.. Difficulty rating.

If the supercharger is knackered the car will feel sluggish compared to normal. Changing the charger is a diy job but you need to work in a clean environment cos if any dirt gets inside the charger it'll knacker the veins, then your in trouble!
