Car won't start

Car seemed to go into limp mode was then parked
for several weeks battery was then dead replaced
battery now everything comes on but car won't
crank over not even a click

Charge the battery and clean and tighten the battery connections. If the check engine light is on then you need to have the codes read. Post the codes here so we can help.

Turn on egnition & depress FOOT brake. Move the gear rapidly back and forth a number of times. If no change then repeat. A mechanism/switch near gear stick allows starting only in P and N. This method sometimes gets that switch to work again.
