Mine the same thing . I have the same year 99 clk 320 . I had my car checked and I have power to starter and alternator . Could it be the CPS(Crank Position Sensor) or plugs . My coils are good and my plugs do need to be changed . If you have a crack on the connector to the post . Will that make it not start or low coolant ? These cars are so sensitive its not funny . A picture of mine . I got it for $600 . I got it running just needed a battery .Been driving it sense September this year . It just stopped 2wks ago . I got a starter but it wasn't that . Got my 2nd key and it started and I drove it to work for 3 days . Came out click then nothing . I see I have a crack on the connector to the post .
