Can you tell me how to pair my iPhone to the system?
Better yet is it possible to pair my phone. I have read the
book yet still find it hard to understand

There should be youtube videos for this. Be warned if you have a 2002, your new iphone may not be compatible with what the car was designed to be used with for that time. I'd call a mercedes dealer to ask them the procedure and ask if they offer a software update to make it compatible, if its not

I have a 2003, same car, same issue, Go to Mercedes Dealer, pull into Service drive, ask for the oldest mechanic available who owns a pre 2004 mercedes. Ask if he/her knows how to link your phone. If the answer is yes they alrady ask you for your cell and your key. Give him 20$ US. By this time your phone should be linked. Say thank you and drive off before the service writer grabs his clipboard or i pad. If it still does not work, ask a 9 year old
