Lost car Keys
Ordered new key from dealership. Will go
into lock cylinder but will not turn.
Dealership said would have to have them
put in a new lock cylinder and then I would
have to buy another key after they changed
it out because of the chip in it send
someone must of cylinder because the key
that they gave me with the one that was
supposed to be for that car anyways before
labor was already over 200 bucks in parts..
Gave them the bird took the ignition lock
cylinder out myself. now wondering if I could
have a locksmith make me a key to fit old
cylinder then bypass the VATS system or
cheaper to just by new lock cylinder from
auto parts store. Strapped for cash need
cheapest fix possible
"Strapped for cash" is the real problem here- and then trying to deal with a complicated 21st century car- at least you are getting educated- like going to college for free- and here is the lesson: if you are poor, like me, get a simpler machine that you can afford to keep running- like something built before 1995- really, think about it, all this trauma for a KEY?!!!
