How much is too much to fix convertible?

Asked by Guru9Y28JC Feb 10, 2021 at 10:19 PM about the 2005 Mercedes-Benz CLK 320 Cabriolet

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Purchased in Oct 2019...had one owner,
meticulous maintenance, it's in great shape,
very low-mileage & great price. Hydraulics
went out on the convertible top.
Any thoughts on what I can expect to pay for
repair?

Shouldn't be too expensive (but it is a Benz). It is probably a small motor or solenoid or actuator that is easily replaced. Might be electrical or hydraulic.

There are after market sites that sell the hydraulic repair parts.
