Did you normalize all four windows? For the rears make sure you hold them all they way closed and all the way open to normalize.

Don't know what you mean normalize, other three operate correctly, left rear will only go down a few inches, not all the way regardless of how I depress button.

To normalize the windows close the doors, roll the windows up but don't go past the auto feature detent in the switch. Hold in the up position for about 5 seconds. That should normalize the fronts. For the rears you may also need to roll them down using the same method. After they are normalized the auto feature should work on all the windows. If it still doesn't work you may have a fault or may need a code cleared.

Lol, the left rear does not go all the way down , so cannot "normalize" it in down position.

any new suggestions?? any mbz technicians here? is it possible that there is an error code blocking the window reset??? will this force a trip to dealer to reset error code???

Were you able to fix it? Cause I have the exact same issue. Except I never disconnected the battery at any point in time. One day all windows worked fine and now one wont open all the way or close all the way. Same Window, rear driver side. Let me know what you did to resolve the issue.

I have the same issue with the same back window going back about ten inches and stopping and top will not go down. None any of the suggestions have worked so far. I also have a problem with the top coming apart in the seam on the back side of the top. I have taken good care of the car and it seems to be falling apart. Is there a glue that will hold it together or do I have to replace the top?
