CLK 500 AMG?

Asked by LionStar Apr 23, 2015 at 01:01 PM about the 2005 Mercedes-Benz CLK 500 Coupe

Question type: General

Were any 2005 MB CLK 500's also badged as "AMG"? A local dealer has one for sale, with the "CLK 500" badge on the left side of the trunk lid and the "AMG" on the right side. Everything I can find indicated that only the CLK 55 got the AMG badge. From the online photos, it looks like it might have AMG wheels, but everything else (interior, engine) looks like straight CLK 500.

I think CLK 55 AMG sounds right. The difference betw. AMG and Non- Is the horsepower and couple of trims such as wheels etc. The AMG on this car is a show. I have a CLK 350 Cabr.
