What is missing in my coke 500 trunk

Question type: Maintenance & Repair
I have a 2006 CLK 500 I bought recently. There us a little pull up piece on
floor of trunk on passenger side. A lot of wires connected to plugs but plugs
are loose. Obviously something was once in there. Any clues as to what? I
suspect it is radio related. No sound comes from radio. I see stiff fiber optic
orange cables but not connected. Please help. It is the model with an
upgrades sound system.

Could be a WAG, but I'm betting its the connections for "satellite radio" My '06 CLK 350 Cab has similar connectors in the same location, although never used. Hope this helps:
Also, if no sound, the clown who uninstalled it forgot to correctly connect it as it was before. There are diagrams on the web, but best to check with dealer or another similar car to see how it should be done. Good luck
Also also... the amp could be missing, which would account for the no sound issue, I imagine
Thanks. Will take a look. I appreciate the response. There is a wider black plug not shown that says AMP on it, so you may be right.
