Question type: Maintenance & Repair

2000 Malibu shut off at 70mph when battery
light and oil pressure light came on. Turns over
but won't start. Oil level is fine. Battery is 1
month old. Any ideas as to what the problem
is?

You need to do some good old fashioned troubleshooting. Does it have fuel? Could be a fuel pump went bad. Does it have spark? Something in the ignition system may have failed. When turning it over, does it sound normal or turning over fast? Could be a broken timing belt, etc.
