have a 2003 ML500 and the doorlocks will not work with key even after replacing batteries

You may need to reprogram the FOB, and I don't know how to do it on a Mercedes.

Here are the keys resync instructions: With all doors closed: 1. turn key to pos. 2 then back to pos. 0 and remove it. 2. within 10 sec. press and hold lock button. 3. Now push unlock 5 times while still pressing down lock button. 4. Release lock button. 5. PRESS TAIL GATE BUTTON TO COMPLETE SYNCHRONIZATION.
