I HAVE A 2000 SURBURBAN AND MY GAS GAGE DOESN'T WORK. HOW MANY GALLONS OF GAS DOES IT HOLD WHEN I FILL-UP,ANDHOW CAN I COUNT THE TRIP FROM GAS I HAVE BURN?

It holds 33 gallons, and gets 12 mpg city. So you will get maybe 400 miles from a full tank of gas, maybe a bit more if some highway driving. But to figure mpg, that doesn't matter. Start full, write down mileage on odometer, and when you fill up take new odometer reading, subtract old reading and you will have miles driven. Divide mileage by how many gallons you put in, to fill up, and there is your mpg. To avoid running out of gas, keep track of miles and fill up every ..oh, 250 to be safe
