Aftermarket pioneer radio no sound

I installed everything the right way but the amp
won't turn on, so the new radio turns on it shows
that the cdx-gt66upw is working but I have no
sound

did your Suburban have premium audio factory installed (like Infinity or Bose)? If so then you have a 1ohm sound system. Everything aftermarket is 2-4 ohms. So in order to get sound you need to get a bypass harness for the factory installed amp, or you could just install all new speakers. Hope this helps
